This course is designed to help you with setting up SLO monitoring and effective alerting in your own account. 

In each lesson, you’ll be shown examples of what to do and then you’ll be prompted to do the same in your own New Relic account. You simply need to pause the video and follow the suggested steps.

By the end of this course, you’ll have used New Relic to set Service Level Objectives so you can quickly find out when performance issues are impacting your business. By being more focused on business service delivery, you’ll be able to identify and diagnose critical issues more quickly, reducing their scope and severity, thus creating a better and more reliable customer experience.

You’ll also have created high quality alerts that inform you when business impacting issues occur. This will ensure that incident responses happen more quickly and that response teams are more confident that the incidents are real.

We’ll also show you how to diagnose and troubleshoot issues that arise with your important business transactions.

Prerequisite

You will need access to a New Relic account with data in it in order to maximize the value of this course.If you do not have access to a New Relic account with data in it, we’ve got you covered. Just complete the “Hello, New Relic!” course and you’ll be ready to come back and proceed with this one.
