Digital Experience Monitoring: Core Web Vitals is a course designed to help you define Google’s Core Web Vitals and how New Relic can be used to query the data in meaningful ways.

You'll first examine each Core Web Vital metric, what they measure, and their recommended thresholds. Additionally, you'll be given common causes that affect the metrics and their respective value ratings.

Once a base knowledge of Core Web Vitals has been established you'll then move on to the building blocks of querying the data with New Relic. Start your journey first with events and attributes used to collect the timing metrics via New Relic’s Browser monitoring feature. Once the components are defined you'll see how to use NRQL to query the data in order to gain observability into a user’s experience on a website.
