About this workshop

Alerts are an integral part of an observability platform.  New Relic Alerts lets you set up robust and customizable alert policies for anything that you can monitor. Get notifications for fluctuations in key performance metrics as data streams in from the different New Relic products, including APM, Infrastructure, Browser, and Synthetics.

This hands-on workshop is a comprehensive introduction to understanding and working with Alerts in New Relic.  It will enable you to set up a range of effective Alert policies, understand how different conditions and settings operate, and learn how to work with incidents when issues arise, and conditions are violated.  Using a sandbox environment, you’ll get to create, test, and respond to a range of alert policies and conditions across the stack, and choose who gets notified and how.
